House of Field x MARTINE

MARTINE’S artwork first appeared in New York City during the 1980’s, when the worlds of art, music and fashion came together to create something remarkable: The ‘80’s Downtown Club Scene. Fashion icon Patricia Field introduced Martine’s work when she commissioned him to create murals, shopping bags and the logo for her renowned boutique. New York City’s biggest nightclubs took notice, with commissions coming from Sound Factory, The Limelight, Boy Bar and the relaunch of the world-famous Roxy. His enduring collaborations with Field throughout the years has led to a continued interest in Martine’s work, and much of his imagery has become synonymous with the House of Field brand.
